Ústí nad Labem region is one of the most complex parts of the tracks in terms of construction. The model shows a profile of complicated landscape in the valley of the Labe and also the dense railway network in the most industrial area of the Czech Republic. The designed part depicts the cities of Děčín, Ústí nad Labem and Most and their simplified railway network. You can see not only the landmarks of Ústí nad Labem region but also for example the river Labe, Střekov castle but also Motor racing circuit Most with a moving car park of racing cars, Most coal basin, Setuza or the brewery in Velké Březno.

Střekov castle - Ústí nad Labem region

Right on the outskirts of Ustí nad Labem region tracks, there is a model of Střekov castle ruins.. A popular place of family and school trips in reality stands on a hill above the right the Labe bank for more than 700 years! Czech king Jan Lucemburský had it built around around1319 to protect cruises on the Vltava river. During the 15th and 16th century, the castle underwent several adjustments and changed its owner several times.

In this city, car and motorcycle races have been held since 1947, but at the time they were still in the streets. But motoring and races were so popular that it was necessary to build a real racing circuit. They used a space at the place of depot of former brown coal mine. With small adjustments it was open in 1983 and it serves to today.

Next to the model of surface mine there is a church. It is not an ordinary church although it first was. It became unique and really worldwide known in 1975. At the time it was shifted by 841 metres! Coal was found under the church and it was supposed to be mined. Many surrounding houses were simply demolished, but the 370 years old church was supposed to be saved.
