The permanent exposition will be found at Stroupežnického 23, Praha 5 - Smíchov. Our seat is at the administrative centre at Anděl city on the first and second underground floor.
By public transport
The nearest metro line B station Anděl is only a few steps from the exposition. You can come to us by trams number 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 20 or buses number 167 and 191.
You can come to us also by car. You can park in paid underground garages and to connect our visit with shopping or visiting a multi cinema in a shopping centre Nový Smíchov where it is possible to park for free. You cannot rely upon parking in adjacent streets.
The bus can stop right in front of the entry to the Kingdom of Railways and then to continue 250 metres along Stroupežnického street to the bus station at Na Knížecí.
Barrier free access
If you are bound to a wheelchair you can visit the exposition of the Kingdom of Railways. There is a personal lift available by the till and it will take you to the first underground floor. The movement on the second underground floor is barrier free. Toilets for disabled visitors are also available. Personal assistants of disabled visitors have their entry free of charge.
We have a lift ready for moms with prams which will take them to the first or second underground floor. On the first underground floor, moms can leave their prams either by lockers or in places designated by the staff by the entry. The movement on the second underground floor is unlimited with a pram.
Taking photos and video-shooting in the exposition
Taking photos and video-shooting for private purposes is unlimited.
Rucksacks, baggage, food and drink
There are two refreshment zones available for the purposes of relaxing and refreshment and these designated places are the only ones where you can eat your food.
If you have a rucksack or a greater piece of luggage, you will be asked by staff to leave it in lockers by the entry to the exposition.
There is a changing desk available for moms with toddlers, which is placed at the toilet (because of space and keeping privacy) for the disabled on the second underground floor.
Play area for children
Younger kids have a play area available with lots of toys from our partners. Since toddlers often play there as well we would like to ask all parents and children to take their shoes off upon entry or to use protective shoe covers, which are available by the entry to the area. The play area is available to all in the exposition!
